Building Partnerships for Growth

More than 20 years ago, MC Sign (soon to be MC Group) developed a long-term growth strategy that first focused on building the foundation for a national network. As new opportunities arose and the company grew, MC Sign decided to pursue institutional investment to further expand its services throughout the country and to begin making strategic acquisitions.

The MC Sign team was fortunate to partner with a few highly motivated and experienced private equity firms over the years who were instrumental in helping us achieve our goals. Their teams, expertise, and support not only helped to advance our strategy but also to help shape us into the organization we are today.

Milestone: Tim Eippert acquires MC Sign.

1997

Milestone: MC Sign wins multi-year US Bank conversion program.

2002

Milestone: National Sign Service Center platform launched.

2004

Milestone: Tim Eippert named E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year.

Recapitalization: Sverica Capital Management

2010

Milestone: MC Sign launches its Lighting Solutions division.
